Our well known criminal team prosecutes and defends criminal proceedings in the Magistrates and Crown Courts and the Court of Appeal. We represent clients all over the country. We are regularly instructed in cases of the utmost seriousness from life threatening violence to serious sexual assault to complex fraud. We are experienced at dealing with cases where there are multiple defendants, numerous allegations and extensive documentary evidence. Our barristers are very skilled at identifying the salient facts and documents in order to produce the most compelling case.

All of our criminal barristers have experience of dealing with a very wide range of criminal allegations. Some choose to specialise in a particular aspect of criminal law taking on more cases of, for example, fraud, serious violence and attempted murder, serious sexual assault, and road traffic offences. 

We accept instructions in private prosecutions, the Coroner’s Court and the Court Martial. Members of our criminal team also undertake regulatory work, and are ideally suited to this work which often involves criminal allegations. We are always well prepared, realistic in our advice and fearless advocates in court.
