Emma has returned to full time practice at the independent Bar, having spent some time working as an employed barrister. She spent many years at Clare College Cambridge as Assistant Bursar and Head of Governance, advising on a wide range of legal issues including property, charity law and employment related issues. Prior to that, she was a Legal Adviser in the Magistrates Court.
Emma is a calm and composed barrister, always very well prepared, thorough and conscientious. She is able to consider disputes in the wider commercial context because of her significant experience in house. She is very pleasant and easy to work with, and careful to explain her advice clearly to lay clients.
